problem with getting into server

hi all,
I have just started playing mohaas again and i wanna play in SG again

But i have big problem when i try getting into server. I can't see snipersguru server in my server list, I see only IP when my friends play in SG server on XFIRE. When I try getting into server, its doesnt work. I see server conntection times out.
I dont know what to do. please help me.

You're the second one with this problem and both are from Poland. We'll see what we can do.

And does it take some time before you get "connection times out"? Or is it immediately?

its not immediately, when i try gettin into serv i wait 10,15 sec, and i get "server connection timed out"

Do you have some mods installed?

i installed moh respev edition without mods and it hasnt worked since propably october...
In the summer i played in SG but now i cant ;/

what version of the game are you running?

all versions, spearhead and breakthrough

Its ok i was forced to sent a screenshot thats why i can't login.
Hope i sent it in the time limit that was askin (30minutes)..

Around which time to you try to connect? Maybe you try to do it at a busy moment (on our server or for your provider). For example, when I'm at the university network, I know I can't connect with the server between certain hours, coz all students are on the internet then and I get a "server connection timed out"...

no, i have my own network, and i was trying to get into server on the morning and evening. I am trying join now, but i see only IP adress... any information about server

have you tried adding the port number to the ip address so it looks like this

193.47.83.226:12204

i can only get into the server if i enter the ip address as above, I know it it something with my installation but have not had a chance to fix it but the above works fine.

thanks for advice 409 but i tried adding the port number to the ip adress and it still doesn't work. When my friends are playing on Xfire in SG, I can see only IP adres+port number but without any informations like players, frags or pings.

It's not your network I mean, it's the one of the provider. Your internet traffic has to go through the network of your provider and if it's really busy, you get a very bad ping and it's hard to connect to the server.

I think we are running out of ideas. Maybe you can contact your provider and ask him if he has an explanation why connections to a game server in Britain is not possible.

i was wondering if your ISP has blocked the port or ip address for some reason as you can see your friends in XFire but not anything to do with our server, it may be worth contacting them and asking them if they are filtering our ip address and port number.

I try to get in the server but i have the problem with the message: "server connection timed out". I don't see the server in the game list and i can not connect via direct IP.

Thought I'd put this in here instead of starting another. There's 10 players online at the minute but the server doesn't show in my listing and the IP times out.Any advice to get me playing would be appreciated. A new hard drive has meant a fresh install and patch up so maybe I've left something out...
