Favourite Rifle

Just looked over the pics of the S|G v Regs game and it made me think why do people pick certain rifles over others? Apologies if this has been asked before but I think it could be intersting as well as helpful to noobs like me So the questions are:

1. Which rifle do you use?
2. Why that one?

Personally I like the KAR because the crosshair obscures less...

In the =S|G= member profiles you can see the favourite rifle from the members.

1. I choose the KAR
2. I detest the SVT40 (irritating sound and it is more automatic than rifle), the springfield gives me the feeling that it is slower than the KAR (don't know if it's true) and I like the sound of the KAR

Sorry Hanni, took a look at a few profiles and couldn't see it mentioned anywhere. Still think the reasons could be interesting though... I also agree with you on the SVT40.

I used to be a Springfield girl for a few years but then i got a cool scope that only works on KAR so i switched.
I like both rifles, but i think that Spring does less damage then KAR. Dont ask me why its just a feeling.

And those SVT monsters ... too loud, to automatic and has a big bad recoil so its kaka to shoot with

I think the in game rifles are as close to real life at the time.
The Kar was lighter and more accurate plus more reliable in WW2. than the springfield was.
The un-scoped version is also great in rifle only servers

Maja introduced me to her scope, so now the KAR is my choice as well..

all the guns are good, but nothing like Kar with a red dot

the M24 recoiled version with silenced barrel.
as you may see at the modding section.

Kar98 absolutely! It's a very nice scope, recoil and is accurate

springfield and kar its nice guns ...
for me the kar98 its better couse i feel it faster than springfiled...
about svt40 , to soft and it not look like a sniper gun as hanni said...

for me the best is the kar 98.....so, kar for me....

My favorite rifle is G43 its quite and have automatic reloading (rock)

only SPRINGFIELD im faster using it

I don't think G43 is quite, in fact is a nice rifle but it have the same problem of SVT40, too much recoil and soft like Maniac Gen said.

And I agree with him about Springfield, I feel Kar98 faster.

if some one likes to have a silencer mode i've got one.
your apponant can trace you by the sound of your rifle.
cant realy say if the admins allow this mode, can see the harm of it but if it's ok by them just PM me and i will send you one
