Our Stinky Weather

Hey all!
What a night!!! Yesterday's weather was biazzar to say the least. The day started off warm for the season... 10c (50f) but very windy and rainy followed by thunder storms. Last night at 21:00 it was still close to 10c but the wind picked up very very very strong.... at 21:30... it was down to -12f (10f) with 80 kmph (50 mph) winds. My parents called me early this morning.. about 02:30 because of this..

Hope everybody is ok Jen and that nobody was in the car when it went cabrio. I also hope that the winds have toned down a bit since then and you will not have another restless night. I know how scary it can be when the trees start to fall ...

No thank God no one was in the truck.. they were all in bed. The weather changed so dramatically.. This tree wasn't snapped.. it was up rooted. The wind was so strong it tore the roots right out of the ground.

That's your car ??,....oms .... ehmm ... .. ufff fortunately no one in the car , but it is an annoyance ...

No Crissy.. Not mine.. but my Dad's truck.. After going over there in the day light and having another look around.. there is a "small" hole in the roof of the garage there.. about the size of a dinner plate, and large portions of the siding and roof are missing. Their other car was parked near the truck, and it received a lot of damage as well from the renegade tree. I told my mom, the trees took their revenge. Because about 2 years ago, my dad tried to use this same truck to pull down a tree in their yard (they live in the woods) the trees fought back then too... something snapped and the truck was jerked backward and ended up hanging about a foot off the ground from the tree... by the back bumper. (unfortunaly my mom failed to see the humor in the situation and refused to allow us to take photographs of it before he got the truck out of the tree.... ) So the score is: Trees 2 Truck 0

Must exercise great humor,,, hahahaha .... I would be very angry But before such a situation, would not know what to do, could sever all haha trees of the city with an attack of madness

Jeez, crazy weather lol this night in Cannada was -50Cº and 2 babies died frozen because they walked to the street only in t-shirt and shirt tail!

Fortunately here in Portugal the weather isn't too bad at all

Ther weather here changed dramatically yet again... I woke this morning to 15cm of snow.. they are expecting about another 15 cm tonight yet. I'll get some more photos.. I need shovelers again this year! Any volunteers? I promise you a nice hot meal for your efforts?

Hi. OMG that looks bad. Gladely that no one was hurt though. We have had much snow here too , like 15 cm each friday for the past three weeks. But it isnt even close to how bad you have it there. It is only snow here not that bad wind. The snow here has melt in between . Lucky it was in the weekend so I have had the time to showel. I have a lot of practise here ,so if it was closer I would have helped you out. I am "Iron "you know.LoL. No that was a bad joke.I hope it will be better weather for you out there. The weather is so strange nowadays.One day it snows and one day it melts. You have the worst of weather there that ive ever seen. I am suffering with you.Hope it will solve it out for you . Thank you sweety.. We're okay.. we had sever thunderstorms again last night.. Thunder lightning, the whole smash.. but you guys know me.. out there watching the storm.. *Sigh.. I love a good thunderstorm. It warmed up so much and so quickly that the 35 cm of snow melted quickly and produced a fog so thick I couldn't see the house across the street.. or my car in the driveway!! So unfortunaly... I wasn't able to get photos of the pretty white stuff for you Maja... no snow angels now.. only mud angels!
