| I've been trying to log on to the server for a week now with no success. I just now found out I was permanently banned for not submitting a forced screen shot. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS. Nobody explained it to me. I'm sure a lot of banned players are scratching their heads as well. I've been playing this game since its inception, (a long time). I got caught up in the political meat grinder when I was with TBA. Too many people with too much power. Players were being banned for the smallest infraction. (I was to blame as well). And we all know what happened to that clan. Nothing but a memory. I've enjoyed playing on the SG server for a long time now, and always try to be a model player. Being banned without warning is not fair play, and very not cool. I wouldn't be so upset if I got a clear and fair warning before being banned. I would like to continue playing on the SG server. Please tell me what I need to do to accomplish that. Thanks.

| if you got a forced screenshot you go to your mainta or maintt folder and there is a folder called screenschots. send the one that says send to snipersguru....to snipersguru@gmail.comand for the record major....we do screenshots on everyone...even members and admins......we do that just to keep the server clean for cheats and bad behaviour. and we don't gonne warn players in advance that they are getting screenshot. ohhh and one more thing major.....we don't abuse our admin power for annoying people.....we just like to keep the server clean. | If you get a forced screenshot, you should certainly have noticed it: There appears a message on your screen that a screenshot has been taken, and it also appears in the console (so everybody sees it).
The instructions for sending in a forced screenshot are also described in the forum. So send in the forced screenshot and we will check it out.

| Appreciate your input. I just went through all my MOHAA files, and there is no screenshot folder to be found. No screenshots anywhere on my computer. Also, my keyboard is not configured to take screenshots in an app. Just tell me what you need from me in order to lift the ban. Thanks. MP | |

| I wasn't complaining about the forced screenshot. I was confused (and something else) about being banned without any warning or explanation. | |

| I'm on a MacMini (pentium). Snow Leopard OS. I found the screenshot folder. In my Application Support folder. But it's empty. I'm pretty sure the forced screenshot never made it to my computer. If there was one at all. | |

We have some rules and we expect that our players know them, especially the ones that play often on our server. Our rules are clear: when forced a screenshot and we don't get it within the hour, the player is banned as long we don't receive it. We can't keep warning every player that they should submit the screenshot or they get banned. When a forced screenshot is taken, the player is automatically warned by the game, so that should be sufficient. If that player needs more information, he can of course ask it (in game or on the forum), but we are not gonna give it by default after a screenshot because it is mostly a waste of time... | I'm all about following the rules. To expand on my previous post, if there was a warning directing me to submit a screenshot, it went unnoticed. I'm sure I would have noticed it. Nobody had asked me to do so at any time, or I would have responded in kind. As I had stated before, I have been playing Spearhead since it came online. Most veteran players know I don't look for trouble. I learned from my time at TBA that pissing off the admin is a ticket to hell. I also had rcon privileges at TBA, and I (and several others) got so rigid with the rules that most times it just wasn't much fun to play after a while. I spent more time doing crowd control than playing. I'm far from perfect, so lets forgive and carry on. If you see ME (not an imitation), in the game, please ask, and I will be happy to send you the screenshot, that is if it makes it to my screenshot folder. Thanks, MP. | |

| hi guyz, first just wanna make it clear, i think and as i understand that you didnot get any warning before u get kicked and banned!! but if u back to Hanibal's post and read it well you read that he said, - when a FSS forced on a player, a warning pop up on your screen just in middle of ur computer screen, saying that admin forced screen shoot- and later u should see it on console so all players can see it. i think this is too enough warning for you to know that u really have to send FSS. and as i understand, that u had rcon on other Clan, hmmmm lets say you should know all of this( again waste of time). mate, i advice you to stop beging for forgivness and send the FSS. | |
